Now Hiring

Now Hiring

Now Hiring

Most businesses we are talking to now are actively seeking to hire. The time to activate the post-lockdown plan has finally arrived.

In a recent conversation, a client briefed us on two Development Manager roles and a CFO. In another, a Senior Project Manager and two support roles. They are seeking to not only replace team members who have departed over the Covid period but to grow and make up for lost time.

The ambitions of business owners and managers for a strong return after lockdown is undeniable.

The challenge, however, is that job seekers are operating to a different schedule. Many seem to be staggering to the finish line of 2021 before considering 2022.

The great candidate shortage has seen responses to online job boards plummet. Even the swathes of unsuitable applicants have gone quiet.

My guess is that 2022 will be a very big year. Companies that are finding it difficult to hire this year, will have more prospects early next year.

The paradox, however, is that some of your current team may well be actively looking in the New Year.
