The Company

An award winning well established Builder group with activity along the eastcoast of Australia, having built a strong reputation. With a presence in Melbourne’s leading land projects in the North, West and South/East and continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Sales & Marketing Manager to join their business and lead the sales and marketing function in VIC.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for directly managing a team of 5 Sales Consultants including including training, motivating, coaching, developing and performance management. You will also develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximise sales, be accountable for monthly sales targets and providing robust reports on key performance indicators, ensure sales practices deliver superior customer service, share knowledge and collaborate with the broader business and more. You will liaise and provide direction to external marketing consultants regarding the marketing strategy and marketing and advertising campaigns and all social media and website content. Finally, you will create House & Land packages including stock lists, pricing, and review suitable blocks for purchase, helping the General Manager with growing the business.

The opportunity requires a professional and seasoned customer-centric Sales Manager who can effectively lead, manage and drive the sales team as well as facilitate with the growth of the wider business.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years previous Sales Management experience in the New Homes/Building industry is essential although we wil also consider those acting in a 2IC position looking to step up
  • Strong knowledge of Residential building and strong existing industry networks
  • Highly computer literate especially across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong strategic and operations skills within the New Homes industry
  • Strong track record in leading a team to achieve sales targets
  • Solid understanding of Marketing
  • Inspirational, positive and motivational style of leadership
  • Operates with honesty and integrity
  • Current Drivers licence and own vehicle
  • Willing to travel to various locations throughout Melbourne metro
