Sales Manager – Premium Retirement Living Community

The Company

Well-established Developer with strong values focusing on community, integrity and delivering on promises. With a significant existing landbank, they have a solid pipeline of built form projects and are building their project team including a new appointment for a Project Sales Manager.

The project in question promises to deliver something unique and unparalleled at the high end of the market targeting affluent downsizers/retirees, uncompromising on high quality and design and with an abundance of amenity.

The Role

This is a newly created Senior appointment requiring a seasoned professional, working collaboratively with another Sales Manager in the inner East. You will be relationship driven and provide exceptional customer service to prospective purchasers at every touchpoint and guide them through to sales process through to contract signing. You will be responsible for influencing and executing the sales strategy for this project and pipeline projects and work closely with the project team to deliver against the strategy and identify new opportunities for quality lead generation.

You will achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets to ensure the success of the project. This includes depositor retention tactics to reduce cancellations and building a community network, and attending/hosting events to build awareness of the project.

You will have a strong marketing campaign to support you however it is expected you will engage with the local community & groups to also generate your own leads.

What You’ll Need

  • Project/Off the Plan sales experience selling to retirees or the downsizer market is essential
  • Previous leadership experience from a Sales Management, Marketing Management or Business ownership role
  • Experience in a low volume sales role with an extended customer journey and many touchpoints, experience in selling a high ticket item, luxury product or service
  • Experience & knowledge within the inner East, either from a previous or current role or via community membership, networking or engagement
  • Patient and empathetic style of sales/customer service with a genuine interest in people
  • Strong relationship management skills & ability to engender trust and act with authenticity and honesty
  • A collaborative team player
  • Polished and well groomed presentation
  • Current VIC driver’s licence and own vehicle, Current Real Estate Certificate
  • Previous experience in using a CRM, and proficiency across Microsoft Office
