Retail Portfolio Manager

The Company

Work for a fast growing and progressive retail property group, managing three privately-owned shopping centres in central location in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne in a Centre Management capacity. You will be fully supported by an experienced on-site management team as well as Head Office finance and leasing support.

The Position

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will require daily on-site management of each asset, including leadership and management of a team of 3 and weekly/fortnightly meetings required at Head Office. This role requires an autonomous relationship-focused candidate with previous experience in Property Management.

Responsibilities

  • Centre management duties; including rent collection and tenant management
  • Lease renewals and reviews
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting
  • General maintenance & essential services
  • Liaise with service providers i.e. cleaning, security
  • Occupational health and safety
  • Tenant liaison and relationship management
  • Management of on-site team of 3 staff
  • Regular liaison with Head Office, including weekly/fortnightly meetings

Requirements

  • Property management experience is essential, preferably in retail
  • Agents Representative Certificate
  • Reliable car for daily centre visits
  • Understanding of financial reporting
  • Strong communications and relationship management skills
  • Professional integrity
  • Self-motivated
  • Honest and trustworthy
