Property Assistant

The Company

Our clients are a respected and renowned privately owned global brand with a large portfolio of retail assets with corporate modern offices located in the South Eastern suburbs. This is an opportunity to expand your retail property experience by supporting the department Director.

The Position

In this role you will assist with new store openings, refurbishments and property related projects in an administration, accounts and relationship management capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Extensive relationship management and liaison with internal and external stakeholder
  • Manage incoming invoices and reconcile accounts
  • Oversee rent reviews
  • Assist with department with the preparation of financial modelling, forecasting and budgets
  • Coordinate special projects assigned by the Director
  • Provide administration support to the portfolio and the Director
  • Ensure efficient and accurate management of the property database and company systems and processes

Skills & Experience

  • Highly organised with a strong focus on time management and ability to manage multiple tasks whilst accurately following processes
  • Be proactive, self-motivated and take initiative
  • Provide flexibility, resilience and take direction whilst working within a collaborative and professional team environment
  • Ability to problem solve and ability to present best options to resolve issues
  • Confidence and ability to make informed and well researched decisions
  • Previous experience in an administration or property management capacity specifically in retail property and/or construction
  • Understanding and experience with basic accounting principals i.e. accounts payable and invoicing
  • Proficient use of MS Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience using SAP would be highly regarded
