Project Assistant

The Company

A boutique Property Development and Investment group based in the heart of Melbourne CBD. The Directors have over 50 years combined experience in Melbourne’s Property Development industry and successfully established their business 5 years ago. A strong pipeline in Mixed Use, Residential, Commercial investments and Retail with strategic industry partnerships in place, they also engage in finance and funding projects.

The Role

The role will support the development team with daily tasks and duties through the development process. This position has the capacity to grow and evolve within the business overtime. The initial responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assisting with assessing and monitoring senior debt loans for land and/or construction
• Aiding with the analysis & ongoing review of projects and the assessment and due diligence of prospective projects
• Assisting with project coordination, appointing & managing the consultant team, co-ordinating & managing authority approvals, tendering & appointing builders.
• Preparation of project & investment reports.
• Support with monitoring of projects, participating in PCG and consultant meetings.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• A degree in Property, Finance, Valuations or similar is essential
• A background in an Analyst or market research capacity at an Advisory group, Developer or a background in Commercial Valuations – Development sites, or Commercial, Retail, Industrial (not essential but advantageous)
• Experience in due diligence reports and feasibility studies are preferable
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Medium/Advanced in Microsoft Office package
• Understanding of IT based solutions
• Ability to develop skills in IT/App based products
