For over 25 years, this Australian owned and operated business has provided commercial property managers, owners and tenants with solutions to their property maintenance, fit-outs, construction and labour-hire needs.

Their multi-skilled, professional tradespeople are dedicated to providing quality in all works performed. The aim is to minimise disruption to staff and they are quiet, considerate, discreet and accustomed to working within noise-sensitive environments.

The Role:

The primary function of this role is to be responsible for overseeing the day to day financial, administrative and clerical duties to ensure effective operations and to accurately maintain and update records and data in call company systems. Ensure all incoming and outgoing communications are processed efficiently such as phone calls, mail and providing administration support to other team members.

Duties:

  • Bookkeeping – receive and verify all invoices; prepare and facilitate all payments to creditors and suppliers; process payments; enter all payables in accounting system
  • Operations – oversee all licenses and SWMS are up to date; conduct new staff inductions; book team members for jobs and labourers; quotes for upcoming projects as well as other day to day tasks and responsibilities

Skills & Experience:

This role just about has everything – plus more! So, the following relevant skills and experience is a must:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Professional phone manner
  • Interpersonal and communications skills
  • Sounds computer skills – MS Office Suite and Zero would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work as an individual and within a team
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
