The Role

This opportunity will be career defining, exciting, challenging, rewarding, fast paced and will provide the chance to be a part of something very special.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering preventative and reactive maintenance, whilst supporting and driving strategic asset infrastructure initiatives. This will include a major focus on the implementation of sound operational processes and collation of in-depth asset data.

In addition, the Facilities Manager will work year round with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth preparation of the Australian Open.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with critically important stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Assist in the design and implementation of fundamental facility management processes
  • Lead and deliver preventative and reactive maintenance schedules
  • Ensure strict compliance management protocols are developed and adhered to
  • Contracts management, including procurement and improving service delivery
  • Management of minor works and assisting in developing major works programs
  • Ensure all infrastructure is equipped and prepared for the Australian Open event

Requirements

  • A Mechanical or Electrical trade or Engineering qualification
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in facilities and contract management
  • High level of resilience to perform at optimum capacity when faced with challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in everything you do
  • The passion and desire to achieve and strive for excellence
  • A collaborative and adaptable nature and open mindedness in everything you do
  • Experience managing live-site environments
  • High proficiency in the use of CMMS and Asset Management software
