Bid & Marketing Coordinator – Construction

About the Role

Reporting to the Bid Manager, and also assisting the Marketing Manager, this is a pivotal role to the business, newly created due to continued growth, to add critical support to the New Business division.

The majority of your time will be spent on preparing high quality Capability Statements, Expressions of Interest and Tender submissions. These proposals are commercial and technical in nature, with a significant amount of work required to ensure their accuracy and fit for purpose. You will work closely with various internal departments and liaise with internal and external stakeholder for key bid information. You will develop presentations and at times attend client meetings/presentations.

For the remainder of your time, you will assist in organising client functions and events, assist with the production of marketing brochures and newsletters, assist in localised or industry specific marketing initiatives and more.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in either a Marketing role or Bid Coordinator role within the Property and Construction industry
  • Tertiary related qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or Graphic Design
  • Technical writing background, having previously created detailed documents
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite particuarly Indesign experience which is essential
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build meaningful relationships internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Client facing where required – Polished and professional with outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous approach
  • A fantastic, positive can-do attitude with a strong work ethic will ensure you fit in well with this team
