This large international property advisory and valuations group have grown significantly in more than thirty years of local operations. With a network of international partners throughout South East Asia, the volume of work, combined with higher asset value (up to c.$200m) exposure has led to the creation of a senior role for a proven commercial valuer to lead not only reports, but more importantly client-relationship retainment and growth.

They provide meaningful solutions for their clients across all property types, key clients include major listed institutions, allied-bodies, government portfolio’s, high-net worth individuals and not for profit groups. Services provided include asset management advice, facilities management, capital transactions and economic research for growing businesses.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be joining a team of property specialists and experts operating purely in commercial valuations across a variety of asset-classes. With an abundance of existing work, you don’t necessarily need to bring your own clients, though it will certainly be expected that you feel comfortable to engage with and grow client relationships and be show hunger to network in the industry.

You’ll use your depth of valuation expertise to prepare and present written reports for the suite of loyal clients and possibly look toward developing your own team around you, mentoring less-senior valuers and being a role-model for best practice. You’ll be outcome-focused and strive to deliver timely and accurate outcomes to a variety of key stakeholders. Ultimately this is an opportunity for an experienced valuer to develop into a state-manager position and use not only their own professional profile but lean on the capability of the wider business to enhance commercial outcomes.

About you

  • A positive customer-centric approach to valuation and advisory
  • To be capable, willing and to partake in networking and client social opportunities
  • A Degree in Business (Property) or equivalent
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as a commercial valuer AAPI / CPV or R.I.C.S
  • Some leadership skills are preferred but not essential
  • Would also consider a plant and equipment valuer
  • You MUST have either Australian residency, or permanent work visa to apply
