Assistant Project Manager (Client Side)

This is an opportunity for either a Graduate Architect or Interior Designer to progress their career into an Assistant Project Manager role. Alternatively, this is an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to work for an international retailer and be mentored by a highly respected Senior Project Manager. Our client is a highly recognisable group that are continuing to grow their National portfolio.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering the full range of design and project management services across a variety of retail, new build and refurbishment projects valued between $100K to $2.5M throughout Australia and New Zealand.

With relevant tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Interior Design or similar, you will also need to possess:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years post tertiary experience in Architecture, Interior Design or Project Management preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, previous direct supervisory experience and proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and career ambition
  • Prepared to undertake travel throughout the country as required.
