About the role

Join a highly reputable, award-winning developer as an Assistant Development Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in the overall operation and successful management of a significant project within the Major Projects division. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a dynamic team handling all facets of development, including residential, hotels, communal spaces, retail, and F&B offerings. Your grit, determination, and drive will be essential in delivering one of Melbourne’s largest, world-class projects with numerous moving parts.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and brief consultants, including preparing agreements and tracking variations.
  • Assist in setting up and attending sales and marketing events.
  • Update and manage marketing collateral and sales suites.
  • Handle purchaser information, contract status, and prepare market updates.
  • Prepare and review project programs, manage documentation, and track funding conditions.
  • Assist in town planning, monitor compliance, and manage information flow and discrepancies.
  • Lead the defect process and assist with settlement tasks, including drafting communications and procuring purchaser items.

Ideal candidate

  • 2+ years within an Assistant Development Manager role is ideal.
  • Mixed-use, apartments, hotel, commercial, retail experience preferable.
  • A real passion and drive to excel

  • You will require a thrive to learn and work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • You must have strong collaboration skills across all departments
