Accounts Payable Officer

The Company

Our client is a leading national property development group, which has an enviable record and strong pipeline of projects.

They are now seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable Officer to provide support to the accounting and finance department, as well as the sister companies of the business.

The Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Accounts Payable functions
  • Produce standard reports (AP and AR) on a regular and timely basis
  • Prepare Purchase Orders
  • Preparing invoices
  • General ledger journals
  • Employee expenses management
  • Maintain, monitor and update the supplier database
  • Liaising with clients and debtors for invoice payments
  • General administration duties for the finance department and wider company

About You:

  • 2 years’ experience in Accounts/Bookkeeping
  • Experience in the Property industry is preferred
  • Relevant qualifications highly desirable
  • Experience using the software package Zavanti or XERO is highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and a good approach to prioritising tasks
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
